Kraken Yu

Kraken is a Seasoned Entrepreneur in technology and commerce, bridging the technical and business worlds, from West to East.

He has worked across Europe and various Asian countries – Japan, Singapore as well as various cities in China such as Hong Kong, Nanjing, Chengdu and Shenzhen. Kraken has helped organised high level Trade mission to Europe from a number of Chinese Provinces and maintains close relationships with his various business contacts throughout Europe.

He has three decades experience in software engineering, including Blockchain, financial markets in Clearing and Options trading, structured finance in project finance and investment Funds & renewable energy with BlockEnergy.

Kraken is also a Co-Founder and COO of INOFolio – an investment platform for Corporate and Retail Investors in a Digital / Crypto currency which has asset classes such as Real Estate; Commodities; Business and Collectibles etc.

He worked as Global Engineering with SmartMesh – the world first blockchain based Mesh network. Also worked as Senior Consultant for International Commodity Clearing House – ICCH, London, for the Asia market specialised in Clearing operations and Options. He also was a leading figure with Cornerstone Research helping develop international business with UCD, Dublin, Ireland.

He holds an MSc Adv software engineering in UCD – Dublin). Other academic achievements include a degree in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies from Princeton University USA; Machine Learning, Algorithms, Advanced Design and Analysis from Stanford University USA, and a BSc Computer Science from University of London.

He is a serving mentor for Enterprise Ireland, as well as a Founding Council Member of Ireland Hong Kong Business Forum in conjunction with the HKSAR (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region), and HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council) and established by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Kraken is also a former Director of the Asia Trade Forum established by the Irish Exporters Association.
