Synzi Dadié, a dual citizen of Cote d’Ivoire and Ireland, is the Founder and Director of Transatlantic Development (TransDeve), a company established in both Côte d’Ivoire and Niger in West Africa.
With over 15years of experience, in the development and the private sector, Dadié started his career as a Translation and Documentation Coordinator in Dublin, Ireland. After working as a senior humanitarian officer in Tchad and the Central African Republic, he spent a period in the insurance industry in Dublin before fully embracing the private sector with the establishment of TransDeve, a trade, communication, agribusiness and B2B firm.
Deeply interested in environmental issues with a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies specialising in renewable energy, he advocates for good governance and sustainable investment in Côte d’Ivoire.
His experiences, language skills, and strong knowledge and connections in the Francophone countries of Africa position him well for connecting businesses and creating opportunities in Africa for Irish investments.
Sector experience includes: B2B, renewables energy, trade, agricultural manufacture, environment policy, translation, human resource management, logistics, employment policy and governance.
Dadié also holds an MBA in International Management and Human Resources Management from Dublin Business School as well as a Certification in Professional Translation. He is an expert professional translator and interpreter, a member of the American Translation Association. Synzi Dadié is currently preparing for a PhD in Social Economy, specialising in employment policies.
